Pre-AP Science
Welcome to Pre-AP! This is a project based learning course that focuses on stressing the application of knowledge in real world situations. The content of the course is integrated physical and life science with the focus primarily being on physical science content. The course is based on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and is correlated to NM Science Standards.
In addition to the NGSS standards, we will be incorporating the Advanced Placement (AP) 7 Science Practices. The students will be introduced to the practices and will be prepared to take an AP science course their Freshman year. The Practices are:

Homework
This is where you can find your weekly homework assignments. All homework is assigned on Tuesday and due the following Tuesday. Seeing as you are given an entire week to complete the homework assignment, I will not accept late homework assignments. The only exception to this is if you are absent the day the homework is due. If you are absent on the day the homework is due, you are expected to turn it in the day you return to school.
